Calorie tracker

A calorie tracker that works like a habit

In Goaltree, calories are a number habit. Set a daily limit, log what you eat in a couple of taps, and every day you stay under it keeps your streak alive. It sits right next to your other habits and goals instead of in a separate app.

01 / Calorie tracker

Set a daily limit

Pick your target and choose “at most”. The bar fills as you log, and the day counts as done once you've logged and stayed at or under the limit. Save up to four quick-add amounts, like 100, 250 or 500 kcal.

02 / Calorie tracker

Snap a meal, your coach logs it

On Pro, send a photo of your meal in the coach chat. Your coach lists what it sees with a calorie estimate for each item, and you can log the total to your habit.

03 / Calorie tracker

Streaks and levels for consistency

Every day under your limit counts toward your streak and grows the habit from Seed to Ancient. Every 7-day run earns a streak freeze for the odd missed day.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is Goaltree a full nutrition tracker?

No. Goaltree tracks calories as a daily number habit with a target. It doesn't track macros or keep a food database, and meal photo estimates are approximate.

How does meal photo logging work?

On Pro or during the 7-day trial, send a photo of your meal to your coach. It estimates the calories item by item, and you decide whether to log the total. Treat it as an estimate, not a measurement.

Is the calorie tracker free?

Yes. A calorie habit counts as one of the free plan's 3 habits. Meal photo logging and the full AI coach come with Pro.

Can I track something other than calories?

Yes. Number habits work with any unit: glasses of water, steps, pages, minutes. Use “at most” to stay under a limit or “at least” to reach a target.
